Gubagoo is the most advanced messaging platform in automotive. With the new app, dealers can monitor and jump into live conversations to stay connected with their customers on the go.
The objective of the new mobile app is to provide a stable, reliable, easy-to-use, and future-ready smartphone portal into Gubagoo's services that mirrors the desktop experience. The key result is to upgrade our mobile app to a maintainable codebase and narrow the feature set to core functionality. In addition, the redesign will address standard use cases; increase app stability, reliability, and usability; and decrease common user pain points.
All in one place
The Chats section contains all of a dealer's conversations with customers. Users can search by date, vehicle detail, or dealership to take action on chats requiring their attention and customize their experience with filters. Additional labels provide context for which channels and team the conversation belongs to, which colleagues are attending to a chat, which chats are urgent and more.
Helpful conversations
Dealers can message customers and record critical customer information to help them find the perfect vehicle. The design accommodates the tremendous amount of information required by chat operators. It shows details usually hidden on messaging apps (such as the timestamp) because users need immediate, at-a-glance access to specific info while on the go. Also, the Whisper function allows users to message each other within a conversation privately, so they can answer each other's questions or jump in to provide a more knowledgeable experience.
Powerful tools
Chat tools provide an accessible way to send customers more than just text-based messages. These structured messages help convey the necessary information in a more dynamic, information-rich, and pleasing way. The Inventory tool allows dealers to send vehicles and is integrated with the dealership's available inventory stock so customers can easily navigate (and purchase). Users may also send photos, videos, offers, links, and contacts.
Building relationships
Users can quickly view high-level customer details while chatting and have the ability to convert shared information into a lead and submit it directly from a chat. Other features such as the Clickpath or Behavior section give insight into where a customer is looking on a dealer website and where they are in their car-buying journey to help dealers better understand customer needs.
